FIVE HOT AAOS Sessions Plus 20 others worth a close look BY EDITOR, FEBRUARY 22, 2005

Overwhelmed with all the education opportunities? Join the club. Good news for you, though - the HealthpointCapital research team has whittled down the program to 26 of the most controversial and best-hosted side sessions.

Minimally Invasive Breaks Out

The Best of the Rest

Alternate bearing surfaces seem to be a hot topic again at the Academy and we suggest checking out "Technology 2005: Alternate Bearing Surfaces: The Good, Bad and Indifferent". We were somewhat surprised to see the limited amount of what we considered, exciting spine presentations. An exception is "The Aging Spine: Disc Replacement, Repair and Regeneration" which is in the early slot on Thursday. We also suggest checking out "Surface Arthroplasty of the Hip". This is a concept that has gained significant traction in Europe and we are nearing the first FDA approval of a total hip resurfacing in the U.S.
