DJO Global Appoints New CEO BY SANDER DUNCAN, JUNE 2, 2011

DJO Global appointed Michael P. Mogul as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 13, 2011. Mr. Mogul most recently served as Stryker’s Group President, Orthopaedics, serving in that role since 2009 following 20 years with the company. Stryker announced that Kevin Lobo, Group President, Neurotechnology and Spine will take over the role of Group President, Orthopaedics, on June 13, 2011.

Mr. Mogul is replacing Les Cross at DJO, who announced his retirement in January. Mr. Cross has been with DJO Global and its predecessor, DJO Opco, for over 20 years. He was appointed CEO of DJO Opco in 2001 and, following its 2007 merger with Blackstone’s portfolio company ReAble Therapeutics, was named CEO of the combined entity DJO Global. Since the merger, Mr. Cross has grown annual revenues from $901.3 million in 2007 (pro forma) to $966.0 million in 2010, while booking revenues of $249.7 million in 1Q:11. Mr. Cross joined the Board of Directors of Alphatec, a HealthpointCapital portfolio company, in March.
